"The staff are the most friendly people, and you can see all sorts of incredible wild life right from the restaurant and patio. We saw hawks, pelicans, turtles, a crocodile! We missed dolphins one morning apparently but yeah, it was absolute paradise and the staff were the best part. "

It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer. I travel solo and do not enjoy sitting by myself or wasting time I could be out finding birds sitting in a restaurant. I go ut birding before daybreak so, lunch as late...

"This hotel is located in a beautiful town in the mountains with an elevation of about 3500. The place is operated by a very nice couple. I stayed here with my wife and one of our sons. We really enjoyed the stay. There is a BBQ restaurant just across the street from the hotel. We had dinner there and loved it as well. "

Walk right across the road and paddle out…or walk a little down to the right for a bit less intense wave. The condo was clean and spacious…had everything we needed. Clean towels, comfortable beds, coffee maker, toaster, blender. No salt or pepper and no trays if you plan on making bacon or roasting anything. And no full length mirrors but the location makes up for that!"
