"Hotellet ligger fint. Det er gammel og slidt og deres morgenmadsbuffet er ikke noget at råbe hurra for. "

"Beautifully decorated space, both mindful of the past but also keeping the comfort of guests very much in mind."

"Friendly and helpful staff and excellent food in restaurant. Nice Lochside location. Great location for visiting the nearby Dumfries House a short drive away."

"Hyggeligt, rigtig god mad både morgen og aften, lidt kedelige værelser, men dårligt internet."

"Ganske skønt hotel. "

"I'm already planing to come back! Very lovely hotel with a cosy dining area. Really good cafe latte ;) Staff is exceptional helpful and keen on giving you a good experience. Available free parking next to the entrance. Good bed and and warm duvet. My room was a bit cold, but so was the weather. "

"Okay Hotel. Friendly staff and nice entrance. The Rooms is outdated, but an okay stay."

"Really nice room. Bathroom was lovely (some hairs in sink when we arrived, but not that a big deal). There was a wedding on in the hotel, with music heard thumping in our room until quite late (we’re not killjoys, but it was impossible to sleep and very loud). It would have been good to know this when booking, as we would have looked elsewhere. Called down to ask reception and they were dismissive and a bit rude. Also loud music heard in room in the morning as well."

"Very nice place & helpfull host. Situated in a beautiful part of Ayr"

"I had the best stay here! Sinclair was an amazing host, as well as the rest of the staff st the guesthouse too. I loved the little touch of the cookies and the bottles of water in the room too. Breakfast was tasty too. I would recommend anyone to stay here, I know I’ll be coming back here when I’m next in Ayr. Thank you all at the Lochinver Guesthouse!"

"Great for our small group of 4 adults."
