"The room was clean having a balcony was fun, but the lake flies were a little intense. We loved the Saturday night fireworks outside our room! Super great surprise. The beach was nice and we were able to walk and enjoy shopping and the sites from the location! Highly recommend. The check-in staff gave us an upgrade since we were staying two nights and that was a pleasant surprise too. Breakfast was nice and very busy while we were there. Good hotel overall, would recommend."

"NIGHTMARE STAY! The first room we had had an electrical problem. outlets did not work, no safety plates on outlets, nothing worked unbeknownst to us and refrigerator leaked water everywhere and food was ruined, maintenance came in and reluctantly just replugged refrigerator in and walked out which did not resolve the issues. Back to front desk where they hesitated to move us but realized we could be electrocuted as rugs were all wet so we had to move all our stuff (a lot) to a different room...

"We spent two nights at this location. The shower / bathroom area was small but useful , no frills. The beds were comfortable and clean, there was no foul smell in the room and I liked the access to the parking lot. We arrived late at night and the front desk was able to come an assist us even thought they were closed. Close to the ferry, shops and breakfast options. Hotel was outdated but safe and clean, nothing fancy."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was clean, but bathroom was dated and water pressure not great. Also some gouging along one wall was a little unsightly and in need of repair and the curtains although functional were stained in places. A very nice view of the Mackinaw Bridge and the beach area was nice for sitting and enjoying the view, but no access to actually swim. The pool, free breakfast, and general grounds were all nicely maintained."

"I’m real easy going, simple, and easy to please, but my stay here was less then subpar.. so much so I actually feel inclined to leave a review. Staff were incredibly rude, dismissive, and uninterested in doing their job. We were traveling with toddlers and with a late arrival at 11PM just wanted to watch some TV in the room and take a warm bath after a whole day of traveling. Neither amenities worked. "This property is old but provided updated amenities. Walls are not very well insulated so noise was an issue. The location was across the street from a park and within sight of the Mackinaw Bridge."

"The hotel was ok. The staff was fantastic. The breakfast was always hot and plentiful. The only thing about the hotel was it was extremely noisy. The air conditioner and the bathroom fan was like a freight train coming through. Other than that everything was good. I would stay there again."

"Easily accessible parking. No wait time at the front desk. Our nighttime latch was broken when we arrived, notified the staff and stepped out to eat. It was fixed when we came back to the room. Worth every penny. Convenient to docks and walking distance to shopping district."

"Very fine hotel for a short stay. The city is very little and not much to see other than take the ferry to the island. The hotel is right in front the ferry, probably 200 meters away. The personal very helpful and friendly. The hotel is old but the room, bathroom and beds very clean. That is all what we were looking for , as we have been away all day , came back to sleep and departed the day after ."
