"This wonderful cabin, high top of hill above the Ohio river, and across from the east end of Maysville Kentucky is just almost beyond words. The big porch across the front with rocking chairs to watch the barges go up and down the river and the trains go up and down on the Kentucky side. Even though it’s quite rustic with original cabin walls on part of it, the appointments are lovely; almost as though the owners live there. Unusual in a rental and really appreciate it!I track birds on my phone...

"The place was quaint, beautiful, and clean. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the communication. Maybe it was a fluke, but I sent a message the morning of check in stating I never received an email with the check in information. After driving the 4 1/2 hours to the location, I had to finally look up the property name to call them and ask for information. I then did receive texts and the check in email. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay, just not the stress of lack of contact...

"We had 12 of us. There was plenty of space. The house was very clean. Unfortunately there was no fishing poles due to past guest breaking them or stealing them. But we found plenty of things to do. The property manager was awesome to work with "

Kitchen is stocked well for cooking meals and the Keurig or coffe pot was also nice and the gas grill was a nice touch. "Communication with the host was excellent. It was a great place for our family to get together. There was plenty of room for all 21 of us. We were glad to have an extra table with us to put in the dining area for all of us to be in one eating area with the family. We also used the extra chairs in the basement so we wouldn't get the nice dining ones dirty since we had several children with us."
