"The cottage is in great condition and the views from the top during the day are amazing! Enjoyed morning coffee on the patio over-looking the bay. Tina was a great host too and very responsive. My only warning is to anybody renting a car and driving themselves, just know ahead of time, the roads to the cottage (and many other roads on Tortola) are by far the steepest I have ever driven on and not very wide in many parts as well. The House was very clean and well maintained which is tough in a tropical environment. The host Tom met us in Road Town and guided us to the house, which was much appreciated! "This was a wonderful place to spend the night. Fort Recovery is perfectly located between Road Town and Soper's Hole, with easy access by car to the great restaurants and bars on the west side of Tortola. Our room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the water. Check-in and parking were easy. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Overall, this was a great stay, and we plan to be back again soon."
