"A perfect week in an outstanding property. Our family of five had a fantastic stay at Pelican Peak. We arrived after sunset and followed our property manager Lynn up to the house( we were happy that we rented a jeep as the road up to the property calls for a 4 wheel drive)Lynn was lovely and got us settled in for our first night.The next morning was quite amazing to finally see the views from the property, breathtaking!All of us had our own space and we were very comfortable. "This was one of the best experiences we've ever had. The hotel is spectacular, as is the shuttle service and the hotel staff. The only thing I didn't like is that when you purchase the stay package, they don't tell you about the room and service fees, and then they charge you at the end of your stay, which are unavoidable. But the stay was truly spectacular!!!"

"The location is beautiful and the resort is on the beach. We swam every morning in water at 25 degrees. The food is ok and the drinks are great. The staff are friendly but service is a bit slow. There is a pool but it is very small, it is more like a jacuzi. The furniture in the room is quite worn and in the restaurant the table and chairs are plastic, that was disappointing. "This was a wonderful place to spend the night. Fort Recovery is perfectly located between Road Town and Soper's Hole, with easy access by car to the great restaurants and bars on the west side of Tortola. Our room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the water. Check-in and parking were easy. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Overall, this was a great stay, and we plan to be back again soon."
