"We love out of the way places. This one qualifies. Very isolated, yet not far from Woodstock and other great places to visit. Well stocked. Comfortable and clean location.We didn't visit the small pond at the bottom of the hill. But it looks like it would be good fun, especially with children. Saw kayak next to a shed. "What a lovely little place for us and our dogs (3 months old and 14 years old). Ellen was so lovely and welcoming and the area allowed for pups to play off-lead. Very private and beautiful. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts who so graciously shared this little slice of Vermont with us! (The attached pic was taken in Bennington the day we checked out, not at the property. I didn’t want to mislead anyone! The actual property is very quiet and peaceful.) "

"It was wonderful! Our recommendation would be to have oven mitts (I needed to use a hand towel from the bathroom) and a teapot (we used just a regular pot). Otherwise, it was amazing!!
