"Rented this lodge based on other positive reviews - and they were spot on! Greeted by snowy landscape and cozy, warm, lodge wonderfully appointed More you looked, more you saw! Comfy beds, good showers, full service kitchen, spotless. Our family of 5 adults , 13 yr old twin granddaughters greed we felt like we were in a welcoming home. "The Barn is one of the best STR we have ever stayed at. Perfect for a couple, room enough to spread out. Very tasteful decor and great amenities. Area activities to check out; So Vt Arts Center, Hildene, and a little more of a drive Robert Frost Stone House in Bennington and King Arthur Flour (flagship stire) in Norwich. Favorite restaurant Silver Fork (IMHO one of the best restaurants in New England and the Restaurant at Hill Farm has the best pizza."

"Christi and Joe's place was just what we needed for family with a racing aficionado and swimmers. Grandkids, daughter and son-in-law especially enjoyed the indoor pool. Fully-equipped kitchen made cooking for our two celiac members and vegans easy. Christi and Joe thoroughly prepared us for our stay and were communicative and responsive when AC problems arose. Glad they welcomed our family and dogs into their home. We had a great time. Thank you Christi and Joe!"

"Beautiful Cabin! Read all the directions or a little confusion might ensue but would love to stay again. There was an issue with the smoke alarms location to the stove making it hard to cook but I think the owner will fix that. "

"Everything about the house on the lake was special and every detail was there. You needed nothing except to pack a few clothes and essentials and Nick and Lynn had everything else at your fingertips. My too little puppies, myself and a close friend relaxed on the deck and enjoyed seeing all kinds of nature. I close my eyes and I am still there. We are all grateful for our much needed stay "
