The area was calm and peaceful just like we wanted, but any activities weren’t that far away to drive. The boat rental place was just down the road which was also convenient for fishing. "Far exceeded our expectations. Supplied most of our needs plus! Had plenty of room for everyone. The deck was such a treat overlooking the lake and made for a super relaxing retreat whether enjoying an early morning cup of coffee or late evening view of the lake and wildlife. Of course swimming and kayacking was a major highlight. The grandkids loved it and asked if we were going again next year!!! It was easy contacting the host for any issues. You will be amazed at the woodwork display...

"Great cottage near the southern tip of Otisco lake, it's a little south of the causeway that divides the lake so there are generally calmer waters. We had some problems with bees the first night or two, but once we figured out where they were coming from, the owners were very responsive and got an exterminator out right away. Turns out the buggers were actually in the wall, behind the siding, but they were taken care of. Overall a great place that was just right for 5 of us. One thing to note is...
