"Decent apartment, aimed at long stay I’d guess. Comfy bed No toiletries, would have liked tea, coffee, milk, kitchen roll or something kitchen wise…and a dishwasher rather than a washing machine…but as I say fine for longer stay Also lounge sofa smelt bodyish Good communication though "

"Room was clean, well maintained, nice hot shower & comfy bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits and a decent size cup are always a plus ! Solo female travelling for work. Only stayed for one night but had everything I needed. Felt reasonably safe. Only issue was the 2nd cottages directions sign was on the right hand side of road & obscured by a tree branch, so I didn’t see it & my sat nav took me left at the end of the rd & up a very tight private road to a bungalow based on the post code. Not ideal …....

"We had a lovely stay in this house near Caerphilly Castle. Train station only a 10 minute walk. Communication with owner was excellent! When we had some questions he answered really quick and accurate. For a really tall Dutch family the shower was rather small, but we managed. Some parts of the house need attention, but the interior decorating was nice. The chairs in the garden are really comfortable. We would love to come back for another visit to Cardiff."

"The property was lovely and clean. We especially liked the views from around the area. Would happily go back again! "

"A good spacious apartment with easy access for parking, excellent bed, TV and shower. Apartment would really benefit from a freezer section in the fridge, oven (or microwave which you can use as an oven) and more utensils (decent sharp knife, tin opener, kitchen towel, bin bags etc) but overall very good. I've stayed here before in a different, better equipped apartment and would definitely recommend it. Check in is very quick and easy and the parking is super convenient. Thanks for a good stay."

"I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. Maybe this is the way it is done in...

"The bed was two single beds we didn’t know everytime we moved the bed it will separate, the car parking was shocking too not enough room to park the car nor reverse out, and checking out was early too"

"The owner was proactive and contacted me in plenty of time with details such as where to park. The flat has good cooking facilities and a very effective washer/dryer for your clothes. The bed was comfortable if a bit soft for my liking. This is an excellent base for exploring around Bristol and to the south. If your satnav suggests using Manor Road to approach from the south force it to use wider roads, Manor Rd is more like a Devon lane than a real road!"

"My friends and I stayed at La Cantera for four nights and we could not stop talking about how perfect everything was! Not only did it have a stunning view, but the property itself was equipped with everything you could ever need- comfy beds & blankets, a variety of games, a TV, a fab shower in the bathroom, a hot tub... and loads of tea and coffee! From the location, we were able to travel by both car and train to the nearby Merthyr Tydfil and a little further down south to Cardiff; it made for a...
