I spoke to the hotel on the phone, during the day I was going to check in, as I had not received the check in codes to enter the hotel. There is no one at reception after 5pm. They promised to send it to me. They only sent the link to pay for parking and NOT the entry codes. I tried to call during my 3 hour journey to Cardiff, but could not get hold of anyone. No ansver on the emergency line. I had informed them that I would arrive at 23:00 as they had requested, and I confirmed that they had my phone number and the correct email address. When I arrived I still had no entr codes and was stuck outside the accommodation with no where to stay! I tried for 1 hour to get hold of them on the emergency line. NO reply. I couldn’t get another hotel room. When I spoke to the hotel the next day, they said I can get refund but have to do it via Expedia, as they didn't have m credit card details. They said they had informed Expedia. It is now 2 weeks later and I have not had a refund yet and not heard anything at all from either the hotel or Expedia, despite several emails. I am very agry that I am having to spend time trying to get this money refunded, after the incompetence of the hotel, which led to me being in Cardiff at 23:15 with no accommodation, after a 3 hour drive! They never sent me the codes so I also could not get in for my second night stay there. Unbelievable! DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL
