"The casita and area are absolutely beautiful. The NM ambiance was spot-on. It is lovely and quiet. Met the most beautiful Australian Shepherd I have ever seen. He had a cone on and was not a happy camper. Loved him. The stay was wonderful. One slight complaint was a lack of paper supplies and tall glasses. Otherwise, very nice. Thank you Morgaine. "Family of four stayed here for three nights over Spring Break. Great configuration of beds (king, queen, bunk beds) for parents, teens, and kids. Very small kitchen surfaces was difficult for meal prep and food storage but we made it work. Did not provide much extra supplies (no laundry detergent, only one partial roll of paper towels) but we made it work. Great location and very comfortable stay overall. "

"When we arrived fairly late (10:30ish), there was a man inside our reserved VRBO. He came out and told us he was staying with friends next door but the owner had told him he could use the space we reserved. He packed up quickly and left but he had laid on the bed already. We saw the owner and her boyfriend separately the next day; the boyfriend talked to us like we were the friends of the man (admitting they had messed up) and the owner didn't apologize or mention the incident at all. "We stayed at this beautiful casita for 9 nights in May. Listened to new birds, saw new stars and satellites and tripped into Taos and Arroyo Seco for great art and food. This casita was full of interesting and unusual art and relevant books. Also the kitchen was a cooks dream. The pantry even contained most of the basic supplies and spices we needed to make green pozole! Our hosts were extremely responsive to the few questions we had.
