"We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the cabin and the location. Make sure you bring bug spray when sitting on the balcony/terrace.The little pond makes it really nice and quite some wildlife directly on the property."

"My unit was clean and host was responsive and very kind! Everything was cozy and I felt very comfortable. The only difference is there was no full stove and oven it is a hot plate. I was able to cook meals fine but did expect a full stove as pictured. Other than than it was comfy, had a great balcony view, and wonderdul host and host family. I would definitely stay again. Also, there are a few local stores that are in walking distance that I loved exploring and getting necessties from. :)"

"Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!"

"This house is beautiful. It has the best views. El Castillo is such a cute town, with some of the best food at the shops down the street (and a very good bakery). The house is very close to the lake and Arenal volcano, and about a 30-40 minute drive to the city center where you can do a bunch of different tour activities. The views are incredible! "Adan and Marianne were perfect hosts and far exceeded our expectations. Communication and check-in were easy and they even called to help us navigate a GPS error (on our part) on our way there. "Lidiana and family made us feel at home. House was clean and well equiped. But highlight of our our stay was definitely cooking class with Lidiana. Not only was the food delicious, Aaron gave us a tour of the vegetable garden with viewing of the resident sloth 'Crash' and frog and bird watching after dinner. We will definitely stay with them again."
