"Love the property. We stayed in building 6 (one of the 3 with a private hot tub on the patio). Had a small kitchen with dishes, a hot plate, and mini fridge. Most excursions will NOT pick up from this property, as it is out of the way. We had a rental car, so everything worked out. Driving to this location is not for the faint of heart. However, it is beautiful and private. Just what we were looking for. There is a small outdoor restaurant on sight. Service was a little slow and seemed focused...

"This is the most exciting place I’ve stayed. If we hadn’t gone on any trips outside the hotel, I wouldn’t have felt like I missed out om anything: You have your own rainforest trail, hot springs, wild life, chocolate and coffee farm. With out the crowds!"

"Vi blev to nætter, men var uheldig med meget regn. Stedet er super hyggeligt og søde mennesker. Der er smuk natur og fugl. Du skal have 4x4 for at komme frem. Langt til spisesteder hvis du ikke spiser på Stedet, men stemningen er i top og man taler med de andre gæster. "

"Such a cute rustic place , away from tourist noise. Lots of greens around to please both the eyes and the soul. Breakfast option is on point , you cannot go wrong with typical breakfast ! "This place is really nice. The surroundings are amazing - you can see both the volcano and the lake, and they have a beautiful garden with a pound, a pool, a spa-area and yoga studio. The morning yoga was really good! And the make really nice food in their kitchen. We thought their activities were a bit to pricy for our taste - but that shouldnt stop anyone from going. Im pretty sure you wont regret it! "

"Our experionce was good, although it was difficult to get around with a child in a wheelchair. The place is very nice and so are the cottages and the simple but tasty food. But we did find that the staff at the front desk were inexperienced which at times led to misunderstanding."

"Fremragende øko-hotel midt i junglen. Hotellet har sin egen 3 km junglesti og vi lå ved poolen og så dovendyr hænge i træerne. Aber, frøer og fugle ligeså. Poolen er dejlig varm og meget børnevenlig. Maden på hotellet stammer fra egen farm. Selv smørret er kærnet fra mælk fra farmens køer. Værelserne er rummelige og fine uden at være luksus. Vi var der i juli og vejret var dejligt med sol og varme. Og selvfølgelig lidt regn også - her midt i regnskoven. Det hører med. Kan virkelig anbefales....

"What an absolute gem of a place. I didn't want to leave! After a 2 week road trip, we wanted somewhere an 'easy' drive of SJO airport before our longhaul flight, and this place was perfect. We felt it extended our holiday because we instantly totally relaxed. The rooms had lovely comfortable beds and stunning views. "The room was in good condition, but things were old, but it was clean and it was comfortable. Had a nice fireplace. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was OK. Dinner was all right. Breakfast was fine however, the hotel is located in a very remote area and to get there, we had to travel on a very steep narrow curvy road that took us a very long time and then as we made the turn to get to the hotel, the road was unpaved and filled with potholes and really craters, and the 4 miles...
