"Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. "This location is absolutely fantastic. Direct access to the Frio river for swimming, fishing or just enjoying the beautiful view. We were a family group of all ages, and everyone had a wonderful time. Easy communication with the owner for questions. Highly recommend."

"Great location with rustic charm. The well‑stocked kitchen made cooking easy, and nights were dark and quiet. Beds were meh, and the window unit was loud (light sleepers take note), but shutting it off at night worked fine. Our sleeping bags kept us warm, and the cabin reheated quickly each morning. We'd absolutely stay again. Rustic charm outweighs the quirks."
