"It was quiet and good area for stargazing . Owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a flat tire and they were very helpful in being able to air it up. We plan to return for more stargazing. Got wonderful pictures of the Perseids meteor shower,as well as the Heart Nebula."

"Thanks Sussi, we just love your place and kindness!"

"En helt exceptionel oplevelse. Eminent service fra især Lisa i receptionen og Luis i køkkenet. Vi var der en stille dag og havde stedet næsten fir os selv. Vi kunne fodre en kapivar, heste, æsel og en zebra, og vi så mange andre dyr på ranchen også. Smuk natur, vidunderlig udsigt og lækker pool og fine værelser. Et sted med masser af historie. Vi vil anbefale alle en overnatning her. "

"The location is great, beautiful waterfront, not too deep, clear, perfect for kids."

"This was our fourth or fifth time staying at Whiskey Mountain. I am always impressed with the cabin, the professionalism of the owner and the cleanliness of the unit. I have three kids, my husband, and I and the cabin is the perfect size for us. We stay at the Leakey cabin and it feels like a home away from home. We will definitely be back."

"Cozy and Clean. Located near the river and restaurants."

"Communication was great we had concerns about the river flooding. Our host was quick to communicate and advise us everything was safe to travel. Upon arrival the cabin first smelt so clean, second appeared clean as well. Wouldn’t recommend for more than 2 people. Bed was super comfy and the AC couldn’t have been more perfect. Was so frikin cold. Loved it. Went for a run Saturday morning during our stay the views were great. Highly recommend Happy Hollow, and Taqueria San Juan and Frio Coffee. We...

"Amazing trip, we loved it. Close to the state park, and our kitty loved sitting by the window and watching nature. We had a great time! 10/10"

"Very nice stay back in the woods. The owners live next to the cabin and are very friendly people. The cabin was kept very clean.Just a few miles from Garner."

"The place was clean and cozy, liked that it was very quiet. Me and the family had a great time."

"The setting of this cabin was very peaceful and beautiful. The cabin itself was charming and comfortable. I would use caution with young children, though. The shabby country chic easthetic includes apparently repurposed corrugated metal panels low on the bathroom wall with screw holes that are quite jagged and could easily slice flesh if contacted. Otherwise, the decor is very charming. We had a great time on the walking trail and enjoyed the interesting rocks and wildflowers. This is the kind...

"Property was beautiful and so spacious! The kids fought over the loft but all ended up fitting up there. Will definitely book again."
