"My granddaughter and I stayed one night recently when we came to see Laura Ignalls birthplace. The tiny Alden house was perfect for us. It was clean, bed was comfortable and what I always like it had a ceiling fan.Chuck,Elan, Oscar and the chickens were great hosts. "We loved our stay. Wish we could stay longer to enjoy the relaxing looking bath facilities! E couldn’t figure the TV out so we played cards and had so much fun. I could have easily called Allie and asked about the tv , but we decided not to. The beds were extra comfortable. The bedding was soft and cozy. Thank you so much! "

You can hike to the state park from the cabin (3.5 miles to point no point) We Kayaked, Hiked and even did a winery tour at Villa Bellezza in Pepin. Our Host was conscientious and helpful. "It was as great as advertised! There was plenty of space and sleeping arrangements for all 12 of us to sleep comfortably. Karen was kind and clear about check-in and check-out instructions.
