"We enjoyed our stay at the Chester, the room was clean and decorated beautifully so it felt like a home rather than a hotel room. I’d highly recommend the restaurant right next door, Mida, but make a reservation. If you need quiet this isn’t the place for you as it’s near a busy intersection so there are frequent sirens and car noise but we got used to it and the positives definitely outweighed the negative! "

"The hotel was perfect for our long weekend trip to Boston. If I had a complaint it would be that it could use a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Otherwise, it was comfortable, the location couldn't be beat, we had a great time. Would definitely recommend and rebook!"

This also means much noise from the street as well as someone living higher up in the building consistently played music at a level of volume that was inapropriate, particularly since it was NOT my style of music. "I don’t know why this place has gotten some bad reviews. This was a great stay. Clean, safe, very convenient. It’s right across the street from the ferry that takes you across the harbor to long wharf or seaport district. And also a close walk to the subway. The apartment itself was beautiful. Loved it. The indoor pool was great especially for the couple of rainy days we had during our visit. Such a great stay!"
