"Our second stay at the LUX Belle Mare, which has been refubished / rebuilt (due to a fire) since our first visit in 2017. Its a great hotel with an equally amazing staff. The resort, its beach as well as all faciliities are exellent. We had an issue with mold / water damage in our bathroom which was quickly attended to and a new room and a free dinner was offered as compensation. Food and drinks throughout the resort are delicious, only caveat is that the prices seem to have spiked since our last visit, so dinner in the buffet restaurant for 2 adults and two kids, ages 2 and 4 (food only, no drinks), now comes in at MUR 12,000 (aprox. EUR 250), which is a bit much in my view. Other sister resorts offers free buffet dining for kids below age 5. Would strongly recommend staying at this resort when in Mauritius "

"Very good stay at this hotel. The common areas are great, location is great, food is great, beach is beautiful, spa is really good. The only downside is the rooms, they are a bit outdated. But overall a great experience and stay."
