"This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The location is good and the owner is great. Kim is very responsive. We had an issue with the temperature in the place and Kim addressed it quickly and attentively; and it was resolved. Even my dog was comfortable staying there. He usually barks when we leave him alone (crated), but he didn't while there. "

The owner was also very flexible in extending our check out time by a little bit since the checkout time was 10 and we had a funeral at 1, leaving us with 3 hours of downtime. "Had a great stay in Haysi! What a friendly community. Love seeing this small town in the midst of creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Loved the loft. It is such a great space. If you ever got “rained out”, you would be happy being stuck I doors here with the great outside covered porch. We brought a home cooked meal for our first night and walked to Pizza Plus just one block away after our day at Breaks Interstate Park. It’s about a 15 minute super windy drive to the park.
