"We had an ocean view, next to the little river or inlet. Lovely on the balcony! The unit clearly is a bit dated. While clean, it had carpet stains and tears, but all the fixtures worked well and the overall experience was just superb. We would go back."

"Vores ophold på Resortet var en positiv oplevelse hele vejen igennem. Vi havde ikke de store forventninger til stedet, da billederne ikke var specielt gode - Men vi blev virkelig overrasket på den gode måde da vi så stedet og vores lejlighed. Stor lys lejlighed med udsigt ud over havet uden extra pris. et roligt resort der osede af afslapning og med en hyggelig pool til. Det er ikke super luksus, men der var alt hvad man skulle bruge for at kunne have et skønt ophold. Vi nød vores uge her!...

"Det var dejligt at vågne op til palmeudsigt og vide, at poolen var åben, hvis vi ønskede det. Det var dog mildest talt sært, at sengen var en sovesofa. Kaffen var decideret elendig, men der var en maskine at lave den på og dertil alt muligt andet køkkenudstyr. Smoothieblender og micro-ovn. Ellers fint-fint."

"Beautiful location right on the water. The rooms were very spacious and the staff were amazing - very accommodating & available for anything we needed. The rooms, amenities and swimming pool have everything you need for a great stay. The turtles swimming right off the property edge was a highlight, highly recommend!"

"This is our third time staying at Kappa Sands with our small family. We absolutely love it. The beach is perfect for young kids, walk down the beach and the surf is perfect for riding waves. The pool is as always an attraction. We have family meals with all the kitchen appliances you need and a big refrigerator. The life is so sweet at at our little piece of aloha."

"We stayed 3 nights in this Princeville condo in April; it was clean, very quiet, comfortable bed, kitchenette with all we needed, washer/dryer very handy. Excellent directions in email made accessing the keys and moving in a breeze! Great location within 10 minutes of both Hanalei and Kilauea restaurants and shops, and close to shuttle to Napali coast. Highly recommend!"

"It is a motel room with a couple of upgrades not a studio. Did not have entry instructions as no internet, extremly stressful locating it in dark and rain. Had to ask a local to log me into their internet to obtain instructions. Need for earlier instructions for internationals. Room has nice appointments, however no comfortable seating, sliding door does not slide, vent on patio blows hot air. It was very clean, good shower, although bathroom setup odd. No a/c, only fans, needed front door open...

"Wow! On our first visit to Kauai we hit the jackpot! This property was exactly as described in every detail. Everything we needed was provided. Mounque was very responsive and helpful, and he obviously cares very much that we had a great experience. "The location is great, close to the airport, hiking trails and beach. Room is nice and clean. Check in and out was easy as was communication. No early check-in though...per front desk they need to stick to check-in time privided by owner, not really a big deal, just thought some people may find that helpful. Thank you and Mahalo!"

"My husband and I had a wonderful time at West's studio in Princeville! We were on the island for a week, and this was the perfect spot for a couple. The studio was very clean and well stocked for a week at the beach. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, noodles, umbrella, and coolers West has for guests to use. "Worn and dirty The room was worn with a number of deficiencies, e.g. rust ran down the bathtub, the doors in the room had obvious large, black stains of dirt and there was old dust and dirt in the corners. The room had a small balcony, but the furniture was so dirty that it could not be used. The hotel hallway was not cleaned during the 6 days we stayed there. The area around the hotel was messy and there was litter in several places. The best thing about the hotel was a grassy area down to the Pacific Ocean, here were chairs and the area was tidy."
