"The house was clean, comfy, and charming. Perfect for our home base as we visited several friends after moving away from Valparaiso a couple of years ago. Some accessibility features were very helpful after a recent injury. This is a great spot for a visit to Valpo. Highly recommended. "

"The house was very nice and clean. It is well stocked for all kinds of situations. I had a family gathering and this home was wonderful. I thought I had enough life jackets for all but I was one short and there just happen to be an extra in the ski room. The kids and adults enjoyed jumping off the dock into the water. The fire pit was great to get everyone calmed down so they could watch a movie and go to bed. The only thing we did not get to try was making some popcorn so hopefully next...

"House was a great location if you are visiting Indiana Beach. Literally a 3 min drive right around the corner from the main entrance. Less than 10 mins away from groceries and fast food to south. Owner was pleasant, but communication was not great. Messages through VRBO took over an hour or over night to get a response. I tried calling the owner twice and the call was declined immediately both times. Owner called back 3-4 hours later only because I mentioned the dishwasher was full when I...

"The area was super quiet and pitch black at night. The tent was cute and perfect size. We however did not end up staying. It was super smokey, when I opened the stove to add wood even more smoke poured from it. Being from eastern Kentucky those are what we had and they shouldn't do that, so I'm thinking the pipe was getting clogged. If not for that it would have been super cozy."

"This was our third time staying in this lovely cabin on Lake Freeman with our kids and grandkids. Great house with every amenity. Lovely setting with large yard for games and great swimming area. Highly recommend. "

"The home was beautiful and felt very new, up-to-date and modern. The home, as well as the location, were lovely and peaceful. We were in the area for a wedding and had other family members in another VRBO. We were all able to come together (apprx 16 of us) at this home for hamburgers on the grill and to sit back, relax and enjoy marshmallows over the firepit later in the evening. "
