"The cabin was so nice. Comfy bed. Had all we needed. Plenty of places to go for a walk. The fishing was great. Host was super nice. Easy and quick to respond to my questions. We recommend this to anyone needing a place in the area and will return and so will other members of our family. Has a nice pavilion area with a grill so if you were considering a family get together it would be great to rent several of the cabins and spend time with each other. "

"Kim is wonderful and helpful! This is a no frills motel. If you want a cheap clean room, a basic place to sleep (bring your own pillow if you are picky about pillows), shower (water gets HOT, pressure is fairly good; bring your own towels if you use/want big towels and/or plush/soft/new ones), and do not need any amenities (no chair for desk in room with two beds, no hair dryer, no hangers) this is the place to stay. Can't beat the price. Stayed two nights last week and am typing this in my room...

"My family joined me for a wonderful trip to Brightstone. We fell in love. Our hosts were phenomenal and so helpful. Any questions we had were answered quickly and they are very helpful. The house contained everything we needed. The photos of the listing are accurate but photos do not do justice to the setting. The beautiful lake is amazing. The hiking trails were fun for the grandkids and we saw wild turkeys and other critters. We are planning a return trip next summer and cannot wait...

"My wife and I and our two dogs spent a couple of nights at this great cabin. Everything was clean and worked well, the beds were comfortable, and it was terrific being 50 yards from the lake. Our dogs (two retrievers) spent most of their holiday swimming. Nice location, easy to find and quiet. Thank you!"

"We have stayed here several times as it is close to family, no frills, just a good place to stay. I t is updated and gets better every time. Price is right and staff is great! Cant go wrong....and just off the highway...This place was so much cleaner than other top notch places we have staed at."

"We were looking for a convenient place to stay as we traveled the northeast area of Indiana. This home offered a cozy sitting area to relax and chat as well as comfy beds for a cozy night sleep. It is so close to 231 that you can see it. We were thrilled that we did not hear it…this made it a very convenient stop for our road trip! "

"This house was the perfect place for our annual family vacation - lots of space and so many bedrooms for our large family. We enjoyed being able to spread out between bedrooms in basement, main floor and upstairs. Property was very clean and the kids loved having a huge driveway and yard to play in. The large kitchen/living room/dining room area was perfect for cooking most of our own meals and we also used the grill. The kids are already asking if we can stay here again next summer!"

"This property is absolutely perfect for large groups! We go on a trip every summer with a group of college friends and our 4 growing families, and this is the second time we’ve come to the Green Lodge. We have 8 adults and 14 kids (this year ages 7 months-13 yo) and we all fit comfortably. There is so much indoor and outdoor space for the kids, a huge kitchen, basketball court, big deck, and lots more to keep everyone entertained. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Overall the stay was good. Some bad things: smelly dirty dishes in dishwasher, old coffee left in coffee pot, excessive dog poop in the mulch in back yard. Would be nice to have a little grass in back area instead of all mulch. For being on main road it was pretty quiet. Would use this location again if available. "
