"A beautiful cabin and a responsive, helpful host. One thing I do want to call out is that the listing's callout that you should have AWD/4WD is somewhat underselling the challenge of a few of the hills and turns. It's a 1.6 mile, single lane gravel road to the property, with two sharp downhill (or uphill, when leaving) turns. The quality of one of the hills in particular has a lot of deep grooves, probably from people going up it in wetter weather, that can make navigating a little challenging....

"Only thing is people need to respect the reserved space for those that are disabled. We had two people park in that spot and they were not staying with us in the unit. Yes, there are other spaces but having that spot for husband does make a difference. "

"Lovely large cabin in the woods. Good view of the mountain across the way. The stars are very bright and beautiful at night. The cabin itself was well furnished for our large group. We especially appreciated the pool table and the numerous balconies. The kitchen was well stocked with various utensils. Not far from Luray if you need supplies."

"Truly an AMAZING experience! A wonderful weekend away with family to rest, relax, and rejuvenate. Close to Shenandoah National Park (our favorite) and set back in a beautiful setting, this is a wonderful cabin! Lots of sleeping options, a well-equipped kitchen, a big deck with a swing to enjoy, fire pit to relax around…just truly wonderful! Dave, the owner, did an exceptional job communicating and making this place a haven to enjoy!"

"Overall an average experience, - the room was acceptable (although with a very funky smell!), staff was friendly and the breakfast pretty good. But some people (guests?) were sleeping like homeless people in the corner of the breakfast area, making it quite awkward/ feeling like a homeless shelter. Staff was there, and clearly alright with it, so I don't know what that was about. "
