The crazy rains prevented us from enjoying river time, but it’s very nice private access. "

Only 5 minutes from the park entrance, the beautiful yard area and dog friendly policy originally drew us in, and the charming little cabin vibe made it perfect! "My husband, daughter, and I absolutely LOVED the Secluded Casita. It was located in the perfect area, away from town and not too close to neighbors. The river is a very short walk from the house and there is a great deck with stairs to get into the river. The Nueces River was so beautiful and crystal clear. We went at the perfect time because the river was flowing just right so we did a lot of tubing and kayaking. My advice would be to bring some good hard bottom crocs or tennis shoes since the...

"Great stay! The house was very clean and accommodating. The views of the river from the porch were amazing! We enjoyed many evenings just sitting there and watching out over the river, seeing fish, turtles and even an occasional deer. The BBQ pit was useful and the kitchen was pretty well stocked for everything needed. The open view at the side porch is perfect for star gazing. A very comfortable stay.
