"Overall, a nice cabin in Annapolis Valley! We had a nice stay at this low maintenance cabin. It had everything we needed and was more inviting than the pictures made it appear.It was great for the two of us to stay in for just a couple of nights. It was at the back of the owners property but they gave us space. Though of course it’s innately private there were few privacy blinds which made us less comfortable. Also a heads up for the tall folks, there is a low ceiling in the bedroom/living room...

"We had such an amazing stay at Dana and Drew’s dome in Port Wade! They were super kind and always checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The dome was spotless, cozy and so well thought out. It honestly has everything from board games and a TV to a BBQ and all the little details that make you feel at home. They also left us a lovely list of recommendations for things to do in Annapolis Royal, which is such a beautiful and charming little town. We loved visiting the Farmers’ Market...

"It was small but well maintained property. Everything was there . Except the main living room heating system was there but didn't worked ."

"These hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. They even came looking to find us when we couldn’t find the entrance to their property! The stairs up to the loft sleeping area are very steep, but the bed was extremely comfortable. If someone can’t manage the stairs, there is a pull out sofa also provided. Great location when looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. "

With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia. "This is a classic historic maritime house, there was lots of room here! It was clean and comfortable and we each had our own bathroom. It was a very quick walk to all the action in downtown Digby, we enjoyed that part very much. Our responsive hosts were very welcoming."
