"Cabin was as advertised and very cozy. High speed internet is a big plus. Quiet and peaceful area around the ranch. Family friendly, we had daughter's family (they live in Mocksville) spend the day with us most days. Mocksville is 15 minutes and Winston-Salem is 35 minutes. Would definately stay again. Thanks to hosts for tour of the horse and donkey barn. My 10 yo granddaughter really loved the tour. Big thanks to hosts Bob and Vicky. "

"Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows.
