"Just a perfect retreat for a group like ours with two kids and three adults. We especially enjoyed the firepit. The place was neat and clean and had exactly what we needed. Communication was a bit difficult, but that is entirely due to the difficulty of navigating the Vrbo app. The replies I got from the host were excellent."

"Megan was a fantastic host. She was extremely accommodating as the hockey game we went to watch moved their start time up, and we had to ask for an earlier check-in time. She generously said that was not a problem. Communication was great. The room was comfortable, clean, and convenient. Very close to downtown college and the stadium. Even gifted us a welcome bottle of wine. Would stay again!!!"

"The apartment met our needs. It was very cold when we got there, but we called and got an extra heater, which helped a lot. We planned to stay 6 nights, but only stayed 4 nights because of an ice storm. I think it would be a nice place for a weekend stay. "We loved this unique family friendly stay 30 min away from Penn State for our family with 5 kids! All the essentials were available at the church house (linens, towels, toiletries, paper products, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc). It was a very comfortable and homey. Megan was able to accommodate an early check-in for us and kind enough to leave some goodies for us upon arrival. She was always available to answer any questions we had. We loved the property and would stay here again. "

"This hotel used to be a 5 star hotel. The staff was not welcoming at all. They were all day in and out starring at their pc. Not a ‘hello’, ‘goodnight’, nothing, except for the night shift. The evening shift told me to in order to get ice cubes, I would have to go up on the 5th floor, to get my icebag. Then take another elevator to the 1st floor. Luckily the night security and night shift were customer service friendly enough to help. It is such a dissapointment from what it was. It was under renovation, and messes were left all over. Our first look had water seeping up from the floor ( we did get another one, not an upgrade, just another one) Our room was nice and new, but such a disappointment to what the hotel used to stand for. "
