"this camper is cute, clean, affordable, and we had all the privacy while we were here. This was all we needed as a base camp to explore the area, kettle creek state park is not far at all, and they rent kayaks, there are dark skies around, the town is okay and safe, but the property is anyways a bit cut-off from it. The host also had some board games, firewood, kitchen stuff etc. the property had great reviews on other websites. All in all - my 5 stars on everything"

"We stayed just one night, but after arriving, we should have booked it for another night, just to enjoy this beautiful place for a longer time! We saw deer in the evening and again in the morning, the grandkids chased fireflies and toasted marshmallows to make s'mores and we caught site of some fireworks over the trees. Overall awesome stay! "Not many options in Port Matilda, so we were lucky to find this place so close to the Marrasas Mountain Lodge. We were still able to get an Uber from state college. And swing into state college for breakfast and supplies. It was perfect for our family of 6. And we even hosted some friends after the wedding. The outside looked comfy but weather wasn’t cooperating (rain) to use it. Loved the blue white Penn state details. Host was super responsive with some last minute questions. "

"We reserved this house for a family trip to PSU for our daughter's graduation. It did not disappoint! The house is spacious and beautiful. Although it is almost a 40 minute drive to PSU, the ride is mostly highway and very easy. The house had a ton of plates, glasses, and spices/condiments which made making meals stress free. We would definitely rent this house again if in the area with family."
