"Perfect spot. Homely, tidy and really well set up with everything we needed.So cosy with the fire going and with a beautiful view down to the lake. A stones throw to the waters edge (and the pub!).Fabulous!!"

"What a cool place to stay. If travelling to a remote mystical place isn't enough, step into this absolute comfort zone. Tucked away down a funny dirt road, this place is THE PLACE you want to arrive to. Space, fireplaces, ability to cut wood, go and entertain in the openness of the kitchen to those relaxing by the fireplace of a very generous lounge area. This is luxury after a day's travelling. Devine!"

"We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. If you are after elegant, refined and well finished accommodation...

"Our stay in the ‘Heritage cottage’ was exactly as described—quaint, cozy, and full of charm. The woodfire heater made it extra snug, and the setting was absolutely beautiful with rolling views and friendly alpacas, sheep, and chickens just outside. The welcome breakfast pack was a thoughtful touch, with fresh locally sourced bread, milk, juice, eggs, and bacon. "Papa Joe is a true gentleman. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean and tidy, comfy bed. Great shower, nice and hot. Joe was very accommodating and welcoming. "

"The staff for moonah appartments were excellent and really helpful, some of the pictures that Wotif has listed aren’t quite right. Book direct would be my comment. Wotif also didn’t allow for any cancellations. The property was nice and tidy. "
