"Property worked great for my friend and I. Great, central location in safe neighborhood. We'll stocked with what we needed for a few days. It's very small, so I wouldn't recommend for kids, but perfect for adults. The pull out couch wasn't very comfortable, so we ended up sharing the bed. I'd definitely recommend for your stay at the outer banks."

"Great communication by the host! Accommodations were flawlessly maintained, and as comfortably as we could have hoped for. The bed was very comfortable and the house was clean. Which, are two very important features to me. The hot water was a little bit of a challenge, but was fine once it made it to the shower and kitchen sink. We will definitely stay here again!"

"The Surf Shack was just a darling little place to stay. Kitchen and dining area were particularly nice.Access to the beach was directly across the street, so convenient.It is located in a great spot, easy to get to so many places. But best of all we could just walk down a block and we were at Surf and Spoon, one of our most favorite places on the beach!"

"Eddie had great communication and provided recommendations as it was our first time visiting the Outer Banks.The condo was beautiful, clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need. And the view was STUNNING. The neighborhood was super quiet (we stayed in November, so not sure about summer time). "Unit not very clean.. windows very dirty and deck and table covered with bugs, bird poop and spider webs. Dog poop at base of stairs.. very utilitarian unit. Bed comfortable but everything else very dated. Communication with host was good and prompt. I did not communicate disappointment at time of check in but we did leave early. Refund for early check out not granted."

"Lorna was an amazing hostess! She was so helpful in working with me to make sure I was safe with my severe allergies and chemical sensitivities. And I was thanks to her help! Her place is beautiful and well equipped. Lorna was very friendly. We will be back in the Spring for our granddaughter 's wedding now that I know I have a safe and lovely place to stay!
