"We have stayed at so many hotels in the UK, but this is without a doubt our absolute favourite. We wrote to the receptionist the morning before we arrived, as we had some special needs, and everything was ready when we arrived a few hours later. The hotel and our room was beautiful and clean. ( it’s difficult to reach our standard of cleaning, but in this room we finally found it.) The staff was very service minded and helpful. We called the receptionist for help, as we couldn’t get the air conditioning starting. In 1 1/2 minute, she was nocking on our door. We tried the restaurant for dinner, and even though we hadn’t booked a table in advance, and had special needs, they made sure of a private dining room for us. The service here was also incredible. We had a drink in the bar, and they made a drink for me, that wasn’t even on their menu. The staff all through this hotel went above and beyond for their guests. It’s right in town, but was completely quiet. The bed was very comfortable and not to hard. It had a homely feeling and we will definitely be staying there again, and recommend it. "
