On arrival checking in only took 5min.The hotel is very clean.The room was spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable.I slept well.There was an extra blanket in the closet if the A/c was too cold.When we arrived the safe was locked and the television was not working.. within 5 min someone came and rectified the issues..We forgot our toothpaste and I spoke to Mellvin at the reception desk, asking where we could purchase some & he spoke to one of the custodians and she came back with 2 tubes of toothpaste and 2 toothbrushes for us.Breakfast was delicious plenty options,I enjoyed the porridge,passion fruit juice, mashed potatoes on some days.The menu changed up every day.The hotel provides a free service where they take you to Bavaro beach & we were allowed to use the beach chairs & washroom facilities.. You waiting the lobby @10am for the pickup and they come back for you @4pm.That morning my husband asked one of the ladies if we can take a few donuts from the breakfast to the beach and she gave him a container to help him self..My husband told the receptionist that my birthday was Sunday and after spending the day out.A bottle of champagne,a fruit bowl some chocolates and a birthday note from the management and staff was left in the room for me.There is a cold water dispenser near the breakfast area for use day and night..it appeared to be brand-new.The pool was very good.& There is a restaurant on the premises the food was good reasonabley priced and a short wait.
