This was my first experience at Zel Punta Cana, and overall it was a great stay with many positive highlights.
The concierge team was excellent very informative and welcoming. My favorite staff members were Juan Gonzalez and Rafael, who truly stood out with their professionalism and kindness. I’d also like to recognize the woman who delivered room service(Daisy), as well as the bartenders and DJ, who were all great and added to the enjoyable atmosphere.
The restaurants were very good, and the service was accommodating and pleasant. However, the food could be improved. I would love to see more variety in the menu, especially for room service, along with better availability. Food temperature should also be maintained warmer when served.
The rooms were very nice and comfortable, though the cleaning service could definitely be improved for a better overall experience.
Since this is a new hotel in Punta Cana, I believe there is room to elevate the level of service with additional training for some staff members. The one area that really needs attention is beach service. Unfortunately, I constantly had to get up to get my own drinks, as servers were rarely available or visible.
Overall, Zel Punta Cana has great potential. With some improvements in food service, housekeeping, staff training, and beach service, this hotel could become an exceptional destination. I would still recommend it and look forward to seeing how it improves over time.
