I wanted to love this resort and it has so much potential. The room was my favorite part, it was beautiful. We had a junior suite and it exceeded our expectations. But the resort itself was very lackluster. Boring!!! No fun activities going on during the day. No entertainment. Terrible terrible music. If you want to listen to the greatest hits of 2005 then come to this resort. We booked the adults only because we wanted a fun atmosphere but instead we got retirement home vibes. The family side was more lit and has a nightclub. Only 1 pool with a swim up bar on the adults side which was often overwhelmed with 1 bartender who always looked miserable. Anytime I asked for a frozen margarita they looked at me like I was asking for their first born child. Just nasty attitudes and no hospitality. The staff couldn’t be bothered and were not welcoming unless they were trying to sell us something . Expect to be harassed all day long with people trying to sell you excursions.Staff gave us attitudes until I started speaking Spanish and then they were nicer. My man does not speak Spanish and definitely experienced racism throughout our stay. His wristband broke and he was carrying it around with him and we got followed around the beach and harassed even though we explained that it broke. They accused us of sneaking in to the resort and escorted us back to the front desk. I had to explain IN SPANISH that his bracelet broke until they backed off. Food was decent, steakhouse is a MUST.

I went to this hotel to spend my boyfriend's birthday. I want to say that I thought it was a very nice and clean hotel. It is divided into a family part and the other adults only. I stayed in the adults only one and I want to tell you that it is not the Same experience, this is a quieter hotel for those looking to rest and relax. It seemed to me that the service is not very good. That should improve. The staff is distracted all the time. Only a few if they serve you as it should be. The food is not very good either. They do not have a great variety and the taste is not very good.

Elevator was out of service for 2 days and I am a 65 year old with heart issues and I had to continuously walk up 3 flights of stairs in that humidity

Visited the resort for an all girls trip April 27, 2024. The resort is beautiful. The male workers very polite. However the food is horrible, flies on and in every buffet dining area. Female workers rude... walk around the resort with an unpleasant approach. They don't smoke at all!! Resort only offer transportation to one off-site gift shop which is tremendously over price, My girls and booked an excursion that supposed to last for 6hrs But due to the delay of the boat meeting everyone at the beach, we spent over 10 hours away from the resort! We was pissed! My recommendations to the resort.... Better service, better selection of food with no flies, better entrainment, provide better transportation and offer the guest 1/2 off of delayed excursions. Will not return back!!!

The reception staff does not explain anything about the resort, elevators broke down in several buildings and we were on the 4th floor with very elderly people, food options at the buffet very limited

Every single thing inside the property was perfect unfortunately the road to access the property is dangerous, we never left the hotel but during the ride from the airport and to the airport we witnessed 5 accidents. The saddest part involved a dog killed by a car when she was trying to feed her puppies…. Road conditions are terrible

We stayed for a week at end of April. The room, resort and beach were fabulous. The ocean is very shallow and grass covered except where the resort had cleared. There are very little selection of non-alcohol drinks (the only place to get a smoothie was at the buffet during breakfast). The food at the A la carté restaurants was disappointing but the buffet made up for it. Food at the buffets were excellent, the buffet at the family side had way more selection and fewer lineups. The staff coming into our room at night to "turn down the covers" or whatever was creepy and uncalled for, and once a staff member came into the room without knocking. The resort pushes the time share thing as soon as you get there and the sales ppl for that and the spa and excursions work on commission so they're kinda pushy and constant. We saw a couple very entertaining shows that was fun too.

Resort is really nice, well maintained. We stayed on the resort side, beautiful rooms! Only complaint was the quality of food. Yes it’s all inclusive, but steak at steak house was burnt/hockey puck like, sushi variety didn’t surpass California roll, and service was hit or miss depending on the day. For most part, bartenders and restaurant servers loved their jobs, all others, coffee shop staff, pool servers, front desk, and spa staff looked as if they hated their jobs and every task was an inconvenience. All to say we tipped well those who made our trip wonderful! They need to rid of the “free gift” and timeshare presentation vibe, had same individual keep bugging us every day asking for 1 min- 3 hours of our time. A lot of great things to say about this resort, and will definitely return, just afew more things to improve. Note-appreciated the security staff everywhere and no issues with theft from rooms in or from in room safe. Thank you

Nice resort. Staff very polite and helpful. Food same everyday, but not bad quality. If you enjoying swimming in the ocean resort is not for you,very shallow water max.2.5 feet deep.

Jesus was the absolute best bartender ever!!! Food and drinks were great! Beach and pools were nice, especially the infinity pool! Side note…use the safe that’s in the room for any of your valuables!!! Was gone from my room for about 5 hours one day and came back to my purse being open and missing $18 and a pair of earrings!!! Supposedly security watched the cameras and they said nobody entered my room during the time I was gone. It’s very strange though because I came back and we had new clean towels and our bed was made…hmmm but nobody went in there????? That was the only bad thing that happened during my 9 days there. Everything else was amazing!

This is a brand new beautiful and modern property with a nice wide beach and a beautiful ocean. Sometimes there is a little too much seaweed in certain areas, but they do a good job of cleaning it up.

I love how clean the staff kept the property. The grounds and rooms were well maintained and regularly cleaned. The adult side is similar to the family side of the resort. There is a sand bank in the ocean that makes going into the ocean fun and interesting as you can float on surface and watch all the fishies below. There was a dolphin jail next door which sucked knowing as I’m an animal lover who watched Marine animals suffer in our own jail called “MarineLand”. Lots of seaweed but was cleared out by Thursday afternoon. (This is typically for this time of the year so don’t be dramatic when you see it, it’s not the resort it’s the ocean, she’s just cleansing.) Main buffet only served breakfast and dinner. Restaurant by the pool only served lunch and drinks, and restaurant by the ocean only served lunch and maybe dinner. (Only had lunch) The fruit would probably be the only thing that was fresh on a regular. Not much vegetarian options. I mean not many at all besides salad options. My husband and I are pescatarians and most the seafood options were overcooked or tasted very fishy. The stir fry at the one station was hands down the best. We got that for dinner almost every night. The spa was okay but overpriced for the 15 mins we got to use the hydrotherapy and minimum massage. I think serenade has lots of potential but should note from other resorts. There is no night shows. And a lot of the employees selling the excursions are all along the walk way towards the beach.

Hotel was nice and staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very nice and you could still smell fresh cement in the rooms.
