I won’t go into excessive detail, but it’s important to set realistic expectations.
We chose The Finest based on its branding and pricing as a five-star luxury resort. While the property has some positive aspects, our experience did not align with five-star standards, particularly in dining, service, and attention to detail.
The food was underwhelming. Despite multiple restaurants, menus lacked variety, with identical desserts across venues. The buffet was average and comparable to standard all-inclusive resorts.
Service felt mostly reactive rather than proactive. We also experienced an issue with a tour booked through a company the hotel works with; while it is a third-party service, the hotel did not actively assist in resolving the situation, which took longer than expected. Additionally, our room had a persistent shower leak that required towels on the floor daily—an issue that should not occur at this price point.
This resort may suit travelers seeking a mid-range all-inclusive, but those expecting a true five-star experience may be disappointed
