Was at Royalton Splash for a week. Had a great time overall, very clean hotel, staff is nice.
Spent a lot of time at the pool and there were people walking around all the time. Open snack areas around the pool allows to be at the pool all day, which was great! Slides, water park and lazy river were awesome, kids and adults enjoyed them all day long.
Rooms were clean and service came daily. They were quick about it too. Mini bar gets refilled at night or by calling guest services. We had an issue with the shower, it was clogged and had to call for someone to come up, they stopped by within the hour and unclogged the drain.
They have a good number of restaurants which you book through their app which actually works great. Never had an issue booking something or navigating the app. You can book restaurants one day in advance starting at midnight.
The buffet was hit or miss, some days they had good choices some so not. Wish they had more authentic Mexican options, they catered mostly to the tourist with American food.
The individual restaurants were hit and miss as well. Strongly recommend Hunter steakhouse and Zen Teppenyaki. Food was really good at both. Most other individual restaurants it was average and we tried all.
Nightly activities in the main theater, changes every night, they are fun and entertaining…just another reason to stay out and drink more!
