"The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from. "The hotel has fabulous Christmas decorations that make it feel even cosier and more inviting. The staff were really friendly, professional & welcoming. The room was a good size and clean and well presented, as was the bathroom. The bar area was relaxed and had a nice atmosphere. Only one issue during the visit. The breakfast sandwiches were in stotties that seemed a bit stale. We didn’t feed this back at the time, which I now realise was unfair. Apologies."

"Nice hotel in great location with the beach just opposite and a 10 min walk to Tynemouth center :) Service in bar / restaurant were perfect - but there finding a healthy breakfast option is close to impossible. I’m keeping low on kolesterol - but thats hard with that breakfast. So had a plain youghurt and nothing else. Perhaps a porridge would be an easy, healthy and cheap solution? Waiters were kind & attentive :)"
