"This rental was the perfect starting point for some hiking I wanted to do in the area. Mt Rogers (tallest peak in Va) is close by, as are The Channels, which was my focus for this trip. This place can easily host 3-4 people, maybe even 5 if one wants to sleep on the couch. The beds were the best feature, super comfortable, best sleep of my life. You do have to climb up ladders to get to them, they're loft style, but I'd crawl over broken glass to get back to them. There is a sink, a mini fridge...

"The yurt is absolutely beautiful. The hot tub was lovely. It's positioned so that you can enjoy the creek and unlike many hot tubs I have experienced, there was no mildew smell at all I was very impressed. It's a perfect size for two people as well. The yurt is well stocked for anything you could need, soap, spices for cooking, cookware, doggie bowls, games, and more. Even in frigid temps the yurt stayed warm and cozy between the minisplits and the pellet stove. My dogs had a blast playing on...

"The house was very well decorated and very clean. We traveled to be with my Grandparents for Thanksgiving Holiday. They live on the Blue Ridge Parkway so this country location was a close drive to their home. It had been years since we had seen them, so we had a good family reunion with the group."

"Really enjoyed our stay at this quaint little cottage on Claytor Lake. It was very well equipped with everything you could need. The town was really close and Thee Draper Village was enjoyable. Make sure to visit Spinning Jenny Vineyard for the tasty wine and beautiful views. This was a girls trip but I will definitely plan another with the family. The host responded quickly to all my questions."
