"Lovely place, very comfortable, clean, quiet. Beautiful views. Watch rabbits, hares, pheasants etc crossing the garden while you have breakfast. Stayed on business as an alternative to hotels and pub food. Great location for walking and cycling."

"Great place for large family get together. Clean and has everything you need. Four bathrooms were great and stores are about 10 minutes away if you need something. Also, communication with the owners was very good."

"We had a really enjoyable stay at Woodpecker Cottage. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and 60th anniversary, there was plenty of room for all 13 family members inside the property and we enjoyed the outside space using all the facilities. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The bedrooms/bedding/towels all lovely and clean. We would recommend a stay at this property."

"We loved everything about this place, it accomodated 10 of us very very well, there was plenty of parking outside for us all!! The house was stunning, the beds and couches were very comfortable! The grounds around the house were stunning, so picturesque and peaceful. There was a small park for our 7 year olds to play on and a horse and pony who came out to say hello to us everyday. We especially enjoyed sitting around the firepit together and lounging in the living area, we didn't light the fire...

"Had a great few days with 3 generations of the family. House is large and has almost everything you need. The games table was used a lot and many laughs were had. It’s at the entrance to a caravan site but the area was very quiet. The staff were friendly and didn’t intrude at all. Would stay again if going to that area."
