B&B i Poughkeepsie

"The host the home and grounds were just lovely! Exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway with our pets. Thank you!"

"What a hidden gem! Just minutes away from the hussel and bussle of the city! Beautiful gardens and well stocked kitchen!"

"the minute we arrived the host was helpful, and very nice. He even asked if we needed dinner reservations. The room was clean and pristine. the breakfast was excellent. the host was very cordial and helpful. would definitely recommend. would definitely stay again if in that area"

"Hair dryer not obviously available"

"It’s a cool space but it’s filthy. There is dust and cobwebs everywhere. The windows need a cleaning. Sorry I sat on the porch last night as my cost is dirty from the dirt on the rocking chair. I read in reviews that some folks had croissants outside their door in the am. We did not have that experience. Our room had a tub with a handheld shower and no privacy. I was either a friend, not a partner. It a nice location right near the waterfront. Give the place a good cleaning."

"Lynn was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. Our stay was very comfortable and centrally located to everywhere we wanted to be. The property was beautiful and scenic, and the home was as cozy and comfortable. She even put out breakfast and coffee for us in the morning, which was very nice! We would absolutely stay again!"

"The hosts were very nice and friendly. The kitchen was clean and the morning coffee was great! Our room was spacious enough and the beds were very comfortable. The setting is charming!"

"This property was beautiful!! Everything was clean and thoughtful, breakfast was homemade, with options from the staff. Staff were lovely, so friendly. Roy, the golden retriever was a cutie!! :)"

"It was a wonderful stay. The Inn is very nice and Patti and her staff is very kind and helpfull in every way. Our room was very nice. Nice decor. Good bed with comforter. Spacious bathroom. Everything nice and clean. Full breakfast is in a nice dining room, with tasty foods. All in all a very pleasant stay. "

"BUYER BEWARE!!! Everything about this place is a lie! It was so bad I didn't go back for my second night stay and the owners would not refund me!! First off it was 23 miles away not 3 from where we were! Second off the twin bed I slept in was about as old as the house itself! Third the bathroom is disgusting chipped paint, dirty sink and tub, and they charged me a cleaning fee! And last but not least the stench from their cat was abhorrent! I thought they owned a mountain lion!! Downstairs...

"Dominion House, while providing every modern amenity, allows its guests to take a step back in time and truly relax. The grounds are lovely (we were there in the Fall), with friendly horses grazing nearby, and there is access to a trail to take a walk. The rooms and furniture (original to the family) are lovely and include a just-refurbished square piano in the living room, The second floor has a library with all genres of (mostly) old-school books, a treat to any reader. Guests have access...
