"Lovely location and walk along the river. However, the accomodation was poorly maintained. The first room had a sewage smell possibly due to a burst pipe. There were large holes in the ceiling outside room and we had to request a room change which was kindly accommodated. The food at the tavern was not good - overcooked and soggy parmi."

"We like motels because you can park out front of your room which this is and It was clean. I can only speak about our room for 2 people for 1 night. Our room needs a refurbishment badly, things were rusty and needs a paint. There was only 1 unplugged bedside lamp on 1 of the bedside tables BUT there was no power point behind any of the bedside tables OR bed to plug into and no extension lead to plug in anywhere else (solution, get rid of the 1 bedside lamp and have none there if you cannot...

"What an amazing place to stay. We had a very long trip of 10 hours to just south of Port Macquarie. and were wondering where to stay for just 1 night that was pet friendly. I luckily found this great cottage. Following the floods in 2025, the entire cottage would have needed to be renovated. Deb has done a great job. It's was spotlessly clean, all the amenities were there and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Deb obviously loves dogs like we do. Our little dog Coco had her own welcome...

"The most spectacular 360 degree of the Manning Valley. The tiny house had floor to ceiling windows to lay in bed and watch the stars and sunrise. Lots of local small towns to explore. A gorgeous, peaceful, good for the soul weekend. Highly recommended for stress relief and total brain/digital decompress. "
