The third floor apartment has quite possibly the most amazing view from any property I've stayed at in 20 years of international travel. The apartment is in an amazing location, just minutes from the Av. de Diogo Leite on the south bank of the Douro River and all of its restaurants and Port bars. The apartment has everything one would need including small kitchen. The apartment is small, suitable to only two people at most. As mentioned in other reviews, the stairs to the top are steep and narrow, something to keep in mind if mobility and/or heavy luggage are an issue

Even though there are no elevators in this building, going up the stairs to the 3rd floor was well worth it. I call it the stairway to heaven. The view is well worth the climb. Apartment was very clean, had ample hot water, and tons of supplies to make our stay comfortable. This venue is a hidden gem. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was very well positioned in a great location with walking distance to upper and lower Porto. It had an amazing view of the Duoro River and came with its own parking spot. The building was very old and the entrance was very difficult to enter. We had to climb up three flights of very narrow and dangerous stairs and there was an unpleasant odor in the hallway going up to the apartment. Once you enter the apartment it was fairly clean however you noticed how small it was as the bed barely fit into the room. The bathroom definitely required some maintenance as there appeared to be some black mold in the shower or “black silicone” which was mentioned by the owner when we reached out to them regarding our concerns after our stay. The entire unit did smell like sewage, which may be from the underlining pipes in the bathroom however, we are not sure where the smell came from. When we reached out to the owners regarding our concerns after our stay, we were basically informed that these standards are not up to “American” standards because of how tight it was and that we should have known this would be the case due to the history regarding Porto and the building status.

내가 본 사실만 기재한다면, 일단 위치를 제대로 체크하지않았는데, 시설사진으로 강변 바로 앞인줄알았지만, 그것은 아니었음. 그래도 1층방 주방에서(내기준 2층, 계단을 올라가야함) 침실은 도로변이지만. 주방에서는 도루강이 훤히보임. 난방은 벽걸이 난방기가 원활히작동되어 잘사용함. 샤워 수압이 엄청 강해서 씻기에 좋았으나, 온수 탱크용량으로 인해 2명이 씻을경우 온수가 부족한 상황이 생길수있음. 소음은 도로변 차가 많은 시간에는 차소리가 제법 들리지만, 아주 늦은 밤에는 차가 많지않았음. 와이파이가 빠르지는 않았음. 카톡 이미지전송이 렉걸리는 정도.

Appartement au troisième étage avec une vue splendide sur Porto. Très bien rénové, fonctionnel et confortable. Proche des caves de Porto et du centre historique que nous avons visité à pied. Nombreux restaurants à proximité. Procédure d’arrivée autonome très bien expliquée par mail. Avantage appréciable du parking inclus. Communication facile et réactive par mail avec les propriétaires.

Great location specifically if you’re visiting Porto for the first time, everything is walking distance from apartment.stairs are really tough to climb or go down specially with luggage but honestly this is the case with most of Porto so many stairs to climb and lots uphill walking to most attractions.

Small studio apartment, Doors are very small to acess and the stairs are narrow and steep. Nice view from small kitchen/bathroom. Parking is a fair distance away. Overall nice appartment and very close to ammenities/shopping and Louis Bridge.

Een aanrader met fascinerend uitzicht.
Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Het appartement was modern ingericht en ook de keuken was modern ingericht. Borden en ook het glaswerk was prima. Heerlijk geslapen in de lekker grote bedden. Het uitzicht was fascinerend. Zo mooi over de kades en de Douro. Genieten.

I had a wonderful stay at the riverside apartment. The location is perfect. Close to everything. We walk every where. I would give this review a 10 if if was quiet at night. There is construction going on from 11 pm till 3am. I have photo and video to prove it. Anyway, overall I love the place. I will definitely recommend to friend and family.

Fantastic location overlooking the river, with excellent restaurants within a few 100 metres on the riverside. Very easy to get across the river on both lower and upper levels of the bridge. Oustatnding communication from the hosts, and the secure parking is only a few 100 metres away so very easy indeed. We loved our time in the partment, and would most certainly stay gain if we ever return to the wonderfil city of Porto. 5* indeed

혼자 여행, 1층 묵었고 숙소 위치, 뷰 말도 안되게 좋았어요. 체크인 하자마자 2시간동안 창문에 멍때리고 앉아 뷰만 봤네요. 사진보다 훨씬 이뻐요. 부엌, 화장실 모두 창문이 있고 뷰 미쳤습니다. 바로앞에 동루이스 다리 있어서 이동하기도 어렵지 않았어요. 계단이 힘들다 해도 성인 여성 혼자 캐리어 끌고 이동할만 한 정도였고 라디에이터 하나 히터 하나씩 있어서 난방에도 큰 문제 없었어요. 부엌에는 기본적인 양념과 조리도구 있었고 와인오프너는 없었어요. 다만 제가 먹은 와인은 오프너가 필요없는 포트와인이었습니다. 뭐하나 빠지는 것 없이 매우 추천하는 숙소입니다.

The view alone is worth the price. Great location with walking distance to attractions and the riverside walk. Owners are super kind with quick responses and the room was very clean. I'd not hesitate to book here again for my next visit to Porto.

This was a truly unique and amazing place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Gaia. The views from the room are incredible and it is perfectly located. The shower is a tad small for me (5’11” 210lbs) however it worked and the rest of the room easily offset any downsides.

What makes this property is the location. We stayed on the first floor and the view from the kitchen window is great. Very walkable to restaurants, shops, wine cellars, etc. The steps are steep, the door is narrow and the shower is minuscule but that’s all ok and worth it. Would recommend and stay again if coming back to Oporto.

Mooi en compleet appartement. Met alle gemakken voorzien. Heeft wel wat slijtage aan het meubilair, maar doet niet onder aan het comfort. Enige nadeel is het bereiken van het appartement het heeft een zeer steile trap en ongelijke treden. Dit heeft als nadeel als je omhoog moet met koffers of na een lange dag wandelen een hele klim is. Verder is het een top locatie met alle bezichtigingen in kort bereik.

Wow what a view! Unbeatable! Great location. Walkable to everything. You must however be willing to walk up some very steep stairs to the second floor apartment. The view from the kitchen dining table is your reward. The apartment is functional and met our needs.

I can't imagine a better location for exploring Porto and Gaia. The view from the top floor overlooks the river and has an incredible view of the skyline of the old city of Porto. It's a short walk to all the restaurants on the Gaia waterfront, up the hill to the metro, or across the lower span of the Ponte de Luiz I to the Porto waterfront. The apartment is well kept, comfortable, and modern, and has all the amenities we needed, including an iron and ironing board. With big windows on the river side and street side, you can get a cross breeze that keeps the apartment comfortable all day and night. (There's air conditioning and a heater, but we didn't need either for our visit in early August.) We were pleasantly surprised by how much storage space there was: big shelves in the armoire where we could stash our suitcases, lots of hangers for our clothes, empty drawers under the bathroom sink for our toiletries. Despite being a compact city apartment, the space was very usable and never felt cramped for just us as a couple. It might be doable with a couple and one or two kids, but any more (or any more adults) would not fit, at least not in the third-floor apartment that we rented. The host is very communicative and gives great instructions. As listed, there was no washing machine and no on-premises parking, but the host gave very clear instructions for getting to the convenient free parking around the corner, and we were able to come and go as we wished, even late at night.

This property was in a perfect location! The view was stunning, even on the first floor apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable. Loved everything about this place! The only downside was that the stairs did not seem renovated and that there was poor exchange/flow of air in the apartment. Would recommend this place without hesitation!!

An excellent location to stay in Porto, close to everything but away from the craziness. Lots of local restaurants down the side streets, serving true Portuguese meals while avoiding the tourist crowds and prices. The property has an excellent view of the riverfront, and the host is wonderful. Communication is prompt and easy, and he can take you on an ebike tour if you'd like. Close to the bridge, so walking distance to everything. Free convenient parking is a real bonus. We will stay here again and recommend this property to our family and friends.

Amazing view, great apartment in a great location
Fantastic apparent with an amazing view. Great location to walk to the port houses and across to Porto. With getting back for sunset with a glass of wine. The stairway up is worth it for the view. Super helpful and wonderful owners!

Charming property in an excellent location walking distance to all the amenities and a great view of the river. Bed and pullout couch were comfortable, room was well stocked, good internet and water pressure, they were quick to respond to all my emails. They operate a bike store beside the property so we rented ebikes and biked along the waterfront which was a perfect way to spend a few hours. My only complaint is if you are staying on the 2nd or 3rd floor, it's a bit of a hike up the stairs with the suitcases but on the upside a great way to get exercise:)

포르투는 진짜 숙소가 제일 중요한것 같아요. 이 숙소 너무너무 좋아요.ㅠ_ㅠ 어디 안가고 집 주방에 앉아서 멍하니 바라보는 포르투는 진짜 아름답습니다. 아직도 포르투 이숙소에서 보냈던 시간이 제일 기억에 많이 남아요~! 포르투에서는 진짜 돈아끼지마시구 강주변에서 묵으세요~~

외관은 낡았지만 내부는 굉장히 깨끗하고 모든 것이 잘 갖춰져있습니다. 아름다운 뷰 덕분에 여행 내내 행복했어요. 포르투에 다시 방문한다면 이 숙소를 꼭 다시 이용하고 싶어요.
