Summary:
Perfect for large families or groups, this rare connected 6-bedroom setup offers two full apartments joined by an interior door on the top floor. Located just off NW 23rd Avenue, you’re steps from Portland’s best shops, restaurants, and cafes. With two kitchens, two living rooms, and space to spread out across three levels, this home offers walkable charm, modern amenities, and room for everyone to relax and recharge.
The Space:
• Two full apartments joined by an interior door on the top floor
• Located in a classic 8-unit building in the Alphabet District
• 6 total bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and two separate living/kitchen areas
• Each unit has a private entrance from the street—no shared hallways
• Main floors (one flight up) in each unit include:
– Living room with Smart TV
– Fully equipped kitchen with gas range, microwave, fridge, and Keurig
– Queen bedroom and full bathroom
• Upstairs in each unit:
– One bedroom with a queen bed
– One bedroom with two twin beds
• The units connect via an interior door on the third floor—perfect for groups wanting shared space but also privacy
• Mini-split A/C and heat in each unit for customized comfort
• Fast WiFi throughout both apartments
• Simple, clean décor with vintage touches and lots of natural light
Guest Access:
Guests have full, private access to both apartments. Each has its own entry directly from the street. The units connect internally through a door between the two upper levels, allowing easy movement while still providing separation when needed.

Welcome to Northwest Portland—one of the city’s most iconic and beloved neighborhoods. Nestled in the heart of the historic Alphabet District, this walkable enclave blends old Portland charm with a vibrant, modern lifestyle.
Tree-lined streets and beautifully preserved homes give the area a timeless feel, while just around the corner, NW 23rd Avenue (affectionately known as “Trendy Third”) buzzes with life. This popular stretch is packed with locally owned boutiques, chef-driven restaurants, cozy cafés, cocktail bars, and dessert spots like Salt & Straw and Papa Haydn. Whether you’re up for a leisurely brunch, window shopping, or an evening of wine and small plates, it’s all right outside your door.
Outdoor lovers will appreciate being minutes from Washington Park—home to the world-renowned Japanese Garden, International Rose Test Garden, and Oregon Zoo. • You must take approx. 6 stair-steps to reach the apartment entry door and then an internal staircase to the unit front door.
• The units connect internally through a third-floor door, which remains unlocked for guest use
• This apartment is located in a multi-unit building, so occasional noise from other tenants may be heard.
• The unit faces a lively, central street—an unbeatable location, but some ambient city noise is possible.
• There is no dedicated parking, but metered street parking is available all around. Meters accept cards and you can also use the Parking Kitty app.
• There is no washer/dryer in the unit, but a laundromat is just a short walk away.
