You will not want to miss this view!

Cabin 7: This Listing is for a Two-Bedroom Cabin with two queen beds. This cabin can sleep up to 4 adults.

This is one of eight beautiful cabins between Port Austin and Port Hope, MI that are all just steps away from Lake Huron. Each cabin has a furnished kitchen, bathroom, dining area, living room, and bathroom with shower. Outside you will find an firepit, propane grill, picnic table and patio furniture. This cabin features an over-the-water deck with an incredible view of the lighthouse at the adjacent park!

These cabins were built in the 1940's so they have a vintage look and feel, but include all the modern conveniences of home, with electric, city water, heat and A/C, free WiFi, and TV!

The property is located adjacent to Lighthouse Park, and we have beautiful views of the Pte. Aux Barques Lighthouse as well as breathtaking sunrises and sunsets to be enjoyed with the relaxing sound of gentle waves.

Includes: Each cabin is furnished with a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, cookware, , picnic table and outdoor gas grill.

Water: Lightkeepers has city water provided from the Port Hope municipal water system.

Internet Service/WIFI/ TV - Free internet, ROKU TV and WIFI. The cabins have flat screen HDTVs.

I was looking for a simple lakeside cabin to relax and make music in, and that's exactly what I found. Simple peaceful days and not a worry to be had. Cannot wait to come back. This was extremely restorative.

The cabin was cozy with a wonderful view of Lake Huron. The management quickly took care of a few glitches, as this was opening weekend. Close to trails and water. Loved our stay.

Went for long weekend in late September, very quiet, even with neighbors. Great view of lighthouse and practically lived on the deck overlooking Lake Huron the whole time!

Nice relqxing stay on Lake Huron. Wonderul view. Can walk to the lighthouse and park next door. Cabin was small but met our needs. Hard to tell from the pics but the walls in the cabin dont go all the way to the ceiling so the only enclosed place is the bathroom. But owners were friendly and responded promptly to questions and gave good suggestions, especially activities for kids. Would recommend for a relaxing stay

Such a cute place, great location, everything we needed. Communicating with hosts was simple with very quick and kind responses. Hosts, and the guestbook at the cabin, gave excellent recommendations for things to do, places to eat, etc. Pretty sure we both gained 5 pounds just due to our frequent trips for ice cream at Grindstone General Store - ha ha! Excellent stay. We have already recommended these cabins to several friends.

Familiar with the area and this is a great property. Highly recommend it. Just booked again with my two younger sons for later this year. Enjoyed the many beaches, piers, lighthouses as well as Sleeper State Park. Fished all week off the back deck and caught some nice ones on nightcrawlers. Can't wait to listen to the waves again in the evening cooking hotdogs over the firepit. - Kip

Just past the tip of the thumb are the Lighthouse Keeper’s cabins… a magical location for dark night skies, incredible sunrises and spectacular views to beautiful Port Aux Basques lighthouse.

Such a wonderful cabin with enough room for 4 adults. So relaxing and comfortable out by the fire. Everything was accommodating and easy to find in the cabin.

The pictures don’t do the views justice. The lake is beautiful and the deck is the best place to soak in the sun and water. The cabin was well equipped and clean. It was perfect for my husband and I plus our 11 year old. We had to cut our week long trip very short due to a family emergency but we would definitely consider going back.

The cabin was cozy with a comfy bed and hot shower. The view was beautiful, the cabin was stocked with everything we need, and we found plenty of fun stuff to do within 30-90 minutes in all directions.

We spontaneously took a long weekend to relax and found this charming cabin on the lake. It was a relaxing weekend and we enjoyed the beautiful views. It’s not fancy, but it’s very clean and cozy. This is a place for nature lovers and folks who want to enjoy quite time with there family. Dave

Cozy cabin was fully equipped. The view was wonderful and I enjoyed watching the sun rise on the lake. Great view from the dining table and yard of the lighthouse! The hosts were very sweet and responsive. Internet was great and it was nice to have the utube tv.

Loved this property! Very cute cabins with wonderful views of the lake. We were able to catch a glimpse of the northern lights and enjoyed it so much we came back the following weekend for another stay! We will certainly be back! 10/10 reccomended!
