The accommodation is so spacious, well equipped, clean and has a wonderful feel with an amazing wooden bath. Special thanks to Yui who works the front desk and the Cafe. "Our favourite out of the four hotels we stayed at, during our Japan trip! Very serene atmosphere, spacious, clean, beautiful room! The staff were friendly and helpful! Though they didn’t have dining or amenities, there were walkable restaurants and attractions nearby, so that didn’t bother us. They had great wifi and access to English programming on the tv. "

"Stayed five nights, centrally located and impeccably clean. Nice sized rooms and a decent breakfast. I really enjoyed the happy hour 2pm-10pm with free soft drinks and wine and a nice atmosphere. My only negative comment was the bar service in the lounge and rooftop bar was obscenely overpriced. Not a big deal as right outside the door are endless options with an active nightlife and shopping in the heart of Kyoto. Would definitely stay again if we return to Kyoto."
"This is listed as a 3 star hotel. It is not. It is the most luxurious hotel we’ve stayed at, including 5 star properties. The room was amazing. The location was perfect. Although everyone in Japan seems extraordinarily nice, the staff here beat even that standard. There was not one second of our time at this property that wasn’t perfect. 10/10. "
"We had a lovely stay. Mr. Ryo went above and beyond to welcome us and help us procure dinner reservations for our large family group. Our room was well appointed, attractive, and comfortable. The bathroom was like a spa!
A fifteen minute walk in various directions got us to exciting markets, or the train station, or high-end shops.

"Beautiful accommodation with all the extras. In a great location, walking distance to the market & lots of places to eat. We would definitely stay here again. The only drawback was the dryer took along time to dry, but the hotel provided a clothes horse which was handy. "
