"We stayed at Villa Kampuwasi in Urubamba for 8 days and we absolutely loved it. The house and the grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. It is tastefully decorated and everything is very comfortable. The staff was exceptional. I highly recommend staying in Urubamba instead of Cusco if you want to explore Sacred Valley. "We had a group of 12 adults stay at the house and had plenty of room with bedrooms to spare. The check-in process was easy with Doris, the contact person, already at the home when we arrived from the airport. She was very responsive to us and even arranged to pick up, wash, and return our laundry on a daily basis for a very reasonable fee. "The property is situated about a 15 min walk from Pisac town, 5 minutes walk from a nice restaurant, it has great views a hills and helpful staff. The property does need some updating. The bathrooms all smelled and were not finished to a high standard. They look 30 years old and have been repaired and painted amateurly. We were awoken each night in the master bedroom and the adjoining room by animals chewing the wood beams in the ceilings. This continued each night for at least an hour of two,...

"The villa looked nice but there was a few big inconveniences, first some sheets in the rooms were dirty and and stained, the kitchen was dusty also and many of the utensils were full of cob webs...coffee machine was full of mold... there was a rooms behind the kitchen that was not mentioned or introduce to us...full access of the villa was limited due to the jacuzzi next to the sauna being already out of order due to maintenence that was not previously mentioned... the villa also isn't equipped...

"Perfect home for a few days to relax by the pool. The beach is 3 min. walking distance and we can even hear it from the room on the top floor! They advertise it as « brand new » but it has to have a year or two. Cleanliness of the floors and the kitchen should be improved but overall a very noce stay with the family. "

"This is not a hotel but rather an apartment rental. The wifi was not working and the place was infested with termites. We had to leave in the middle of the night because there were termites all over the bed. We were promised a refund but only received a partial refund. Stay in a real hotel and avoid this place. Oh they’re also doing construction next door. "
