We are sorry about the "smoke" smell. We investigated immediately but we - along with subsequent guests - have been unable to replicate your experience. All our homes and premises are designated non-smoking and we have alerted our housekeepers to let us know should they ever come across this issue.

The proximity of the main street, the shops, coffee shop, bakery (amazing cinnamon rolls), grocery store, restaurants - are within walking distance from the house. The highlight is Point Lover beach just a 5 minute walk away. From there, you can head to Asilomar Beach along the coast, beautiful in this early spring. Nice little retreat to get away from it all. We will be back when the opportunity arises."

So sorry about that power outage - we were all affected (but no coffee is no fun!). Paper towels are on our list of required items, so it was an oversight on the cleaner's part. We would have been happy to deliver some had you called our 24-hour maintenance line.
