"We were not allowed in to the apartment due to a plumbing issue. A plumber was coming but we were not contacted when the problem was fixed. We found other accommodation so we could get to the show we were in town for. All attempts to reach the host were ignored. It has taken 10 days and 5 Vrbo agents to hopefully get a refund.This has left a very negative experience for using vrbo. The owner was very responsive to our messages and answered all of our questions promptly. "We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The property had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The sunsets and lake views were absolutely stunning and easily one of the highlights of our trip. My family had a fantastic stay, and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside escape."

"I hadn’t received the code by email beforehand. Cleaning wasn’t finished, and the previous guests' towels and sheets were in the washer-dryer. The kitchen cupboards were nearly empty; there wasn’t even a can opener. We had to buy one. There was a superb Napoleon BBQ, but several wasp nests in the yard, which really needed a major cleanup. The beds were okay. The appliances worked well."

"The decor in the place is really nice & the hosts do not skimp out on supplies such as toilet paper & hand soap. The kitchen appliances were high end & it was very well stocked. They had a ton of board games & Netflix available for guests. There are plenty of water toys (kayaks, canoe, paddle boards) to make use of. The assorted life jackets came in handy for us as well.There were a few downsides though:* the water was not drinkable (since it is well water) and it had quite a putrid smell to it....

"The property was reasonably priced and in a great location right next to Horseshoe and close-ish (about 45 minutes) to Collingwood. The house is spacious and easily fit 7 people. The master bathroom in particular was very nice.Unfortunately, we experienced several "new rental" growing pains. "Conveniently close to hwy, spacious but ad does not match the property. Cleanliness was not to expectations, bath towels were not fresh, amenities weren't all there (something as simple as garbage bags and dish towels) responsiveness was slow although friendly. It has such great potential if improvements are made."
