"Overall nice , but updates are needed to the rooms . Kitchen lacked good lighting, stove was old . Fridge is small. No vent fan very dated. For paying what we did expected alittle bit better quality . Breakfast options are boring . Pancakes would be nice. Everyday eggs, sausage , waffles, oatmeal . "

"We had a great time. We did have to request for a specific things that wasn't there. We did not have microwave in our room or breakfast offered as it says on the booking description. However there was really nice pool party. And staff was kind. Great location just minutes to the beach."

I have stayed at other beach hotels and this was the first one that the room did not have sand all over even after HK clean the room.i also felt safe at this hotel knowing you won’t have strangers/homeless people wondering the property as you need you key to access all doors and for the main elevator going to the floors. "

"It was an excellent place to stay. The staff was phenomenal. We did not have any issues at all. Their elevator was down, but they accommodated the residence extremely well. They had a staff member stay in the elevator and help residence to get to their floors. They did a great job in a really difficult situation. The view from the hotel is amazing The boardwalk outside is incredible. You just can’t get a better place to stay!"

"I’ve stayed at a few properties on Virginia Beach over the years and none I’d go back to. However, The Capes is on my list of hotels I’d rebook. The rooms were clean; the property was clean. The indoor pool was warm and seemed pretty clean. They offer an on-site restaurant. I did not try this time around so I can’t speak to the food there. They also offer ample parking that is easily accessible. I guess if I were to offer one thing I’d like to see, it’d be a soap rack in the shower or towel rack...
